Greenvale Play Centre with 1.8m Slide

The Greenvale packs a full play centre – slide, climbing wall and a two-seat swing beam – into a footprint that still fits a normal suburban backyard.

• 1.8m wavy slide
• Ladder-access rock-climbing wall
• Two-seat swing beam
• Powder-coated steel, built to Australian Standards
• Available in pastel pink, blue and green

Why this one

Two swing seats is the detail that matters: one swing gets fought over, two gets shared. Combined with the climbing wall and slide, the Greenvale gives a three- to eight-year-old enough variety that it doesn't get boring after a fortnight.

Space and upkeep

Allow roughly two metres of clear swing arc front and back, and a metre past the end of the slide. Steel needs no painting or sealing, so unlike a timber set there's nothing to do each spring.

Stepping up or down

Smaller yard or younger kids: the Cooper. Older or more kids: the Orangutan Climbing Cube adds monkey bars, ropes and a three-station swing arm.
