Collection: Play Centre

A play centre is the backyard all-in-one: a cubby or fort platform with a slide, a climbing wall, monkey bars or a swing beam hanging off it, so two or three kids of different ages can play at once without queuing for the same thing. We stock play centres from Lifespan Kids (Kingston, Kensington, Greenvale, the Orangutan jungle gyms) and Hide & Seek Kids (River Fort, Matilda, Henry Hideout), all built for Australian conditions and shipped from Australian warehouses.

Choosing one comes down to space and age. A compact frame like the Greenvale or Cooper suits a suburban yard and kids from about three; the Kingston and Kensington need a bigger, flat area and reward kids up to ten or so with swings, monkey bars and a longer slide. Allow at least two metres of clear run-out at the bottom of any slide and behind any swing. Every set here is flat-packed with pre-drilled timber or powder-coated steel; the larger ones are a weekend job for two adults. If you're not sure which fits, email us the rough dimensions of the area and we'll tell you which ones will work.
