Warrigal Cubby House

The Warrigal is Lifespan Kids' Queenslander-style cubby: an elevated timber house with a front verandah, a 2.2 m wavy slide, a rock climbing wall, a chalkboard, a noughts-and-crosses spinner game, plastic-enclosed windows with double-casement side openings, and a large square sandpit built in underneath. It's the biggest single cubby in our Lifespan range and the one we'd put in a family with a big yard and kids across a spread of ages.

Size – measure first

Assembled it's about 4.0 m long, 2.3 m wide and 2.8 m tall. The house itself is 1.7 m wide and 1.69 m high inside; the sandpit is 1.9 m × 1.75 m and takes 400–600 kg of sand; the verandah adds 73 cm at the front. Lifespan asks for a 2 m clear safety perimeter, so plan on roughly 8 m × 6 m of level ground.

Limits and standards

Maximum total user weight 174 kg; not suitable for children under 3; adult supervision at all times; outdoor use only. Meets Australian safety standards. Gross shipping weight 187 kg, delivered kerbside by assisted delivery – two adults needed.
