Lifespan Kids Teddy Cubby House

The Teddy is the small, sweet starter cubby from Lifespan Kids – a little timber house with a snack bench out the front, two mini planter boxes, a picket fence with a mailbox, a pre-painted black door with a magnetic catch, and grid windows with clear inserts. It's the one to buy for a two- or three-year-old's birthday when you want something that looks finished the day it goes up.

Size and who it suits

The house is 95 cm × 106 cm and 1.4 m tall; with the fence and bench the footprint is about 1.9 m × 1.06 m, so it fits a courtyard or the corner of a small yard. Not suitable for under-3s (fall hazard) and adult supervision is required, but realistically it's a toddler-to-6-year-old cubby. Note that a timber floor is not included – it sits on grass, pavers or decking.

Timber and finish

Premium timber, heat-treated (chemical-free) with a matte stain; window ledges and roof pre-painted. It arrives finished, no painting needed. Partially assembled, 33 kg – light enough to carry through the house on your own and put together in an hour or two. Meets AS/NZS ISO 8124. Lifespan Kids covers wood rot and insect damage for 12 months.
