Little Manor Cubby House

The Little Manor is the tallest cubby in the Hide & Seek Kids range and the one that looks most like a real house: a double-pitched roof, oversized cottage windows, a barn-style door with window detailing and a picket verandah with posts. If you have older kids, or you want a cubby that will still be used at ten, this is the one – the 147 cm door means most children never have to duck.

Size and who it suits

Ages 3 through to pre-teens, with the generous interior of the double-pitched roof giving real headroom. It's ground-level – no platform, no fall height – and sits on any flat, well-drained base. Floor panels are included. Opening side windows give airflow in summer; all windows are perspex-enclosed.

What arrives and what's involved

Five cartons totalling 157 kg, the heaviest 48 kg, delivered kerbside by assisted delivery – two adults needed to carry it through. Pre-fabricated timber panels and a printed manual; 3–4 hours for two adults. It arrives with a temporary water-based stain and needs two coats of primer/sealer and two coats of exterior paint for durability and warranty. Paint the panels flat before assembly.
